So.
I haven't been able to get out riding for the last few weekends due to grown up stuff getting in the way. To make amends, I decided to take the morning off work, having looked at the weather and deciding today was my best chance, I packed the kids off to nursery and threw everything in the car for a trip to Gisburn - about an hour or so from me - I've only been once when it had just been completed and fancied another go.
Got in the car and realised that the wife had my sat nav. I decided to give it a go anyway - I am a man. We do not need maps etc!?!
Suffice to say I got sufficiently lost that it was nearly 10.30 by the time I got there - not leaving me enough time as I have to be in work for a meeting by 12.30 in Manchester. Oh well, I thought. As a consolation, I will have a quick blast round lee quarry on my way back (cheesed off - but not a total waste of a morning). Anyway, pulls up at Lee Quarry. Got changed and I'VE LEFT MY ****ING SHOES AT HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now at work. thoroughly peed off.

Boo! That sucks! Well I feel your pain, I bailed on my morning off work ride after looking out the window! Shall use my Flexi up on a sunny day instead!
