when did headsets get so complicated? I'm purchasing a Rocket frame which comes with a Hope headset for tapered forks. My forks are straight 1 1/8 steerer, so I need a new lower cup. Neither Hope nor Cane Creek appear to do the one I need in their pick and mix ranges (it needs to be a traditional cup for a 44 mm head tube and 1 1/8 steerer).
Any suggestions? Anyone running a similar setup?
Thanks STW!
Hope do an adaptor for 1 1/8 steerers to fit tapered headsets. Then just fit the normal tapered headset, job done. My Soul has had one in it for two years now, works great, it's exactly what you need.

^ what he said, or lower cup B from the pick'n'mix will also work and result in a marginally lower front end if that's what you prefer.
I bloody love this place sometimes. Thank you very much.
Reducer race is getting ordered - might try the lower front end next time...
