Li-ion chemistry gives you 4.2V voltage, whereas old-skool AAs are all 1.5V.

I've always assumed that for that reason, no-one makes them in that size, to avoid endless litigation from people who blow up their bits of electronics.

oops...
looking over the product info (petzl myo rxp), it's the NiMH or NiCd rechargeables i want/need.
so, how about for those?

I have had good luck with:
Sony CycleEnergy
GP
Sanyo Eneloop.

All in the NiMH precharged/low self discharge varieties.
