My brother has a Rose Xeon CDX road bike that he has prob done less than 500 miles on. Think it's a 2016. Mate is interested in buying it, neither of them know what it's worth and neither do I. As it's a fairly rare bike hard to get a feel from EBay etc. Was a bargain at about £2300 new, it has full last gen Ultegra with Di2 and hydro discs, Ritchey finishing kit, DT Swiss R23 wheels etc. Thoughts?

An optimistic £1300. Di2 is always desirable and it’s a nice bike with good finishing kit. It would be a considerably better bike than a new £1300 road bike, and if the condition is as new this would be a fair price.

Ta, I had around that figure in the back of my mind but want it to be fair for both of them. Think it has a few small marks, mainly from the London to Brighton ride truck

50% of cost - 10% for each year owned imo?

The 50% +10% pa is a reasonable starting point. But doesn't really work with something thats desirable, originally discounted and in immaculate condition. I'd recommend the said bike to someone at £1,300, it seems a fair price.

It's only done 500 miles! Practically brand new that. I'd say £1500. That's what I'd sell to a friend for. To a non-friend £1750.
