It's the bars and stem that cause the most visual offence IMO!

Oh God...it's all wrong. The angles are wrong, it's a singlespeed, the stem and bars are wrong and the suspension design...URT meets Marin?
What's the point in having rear suspension that only works when you're sat down?

'Ram' is actually a colloquialism for crap where I went to school.
That bike looks as if it's been run over.
It ticks a lots of boxes for that STW nicheness cachet;
steel, singlespeed, no on else will [s]want to be seen dead on one[/s] have a similar "rig" and it is also available in the next big thing wheel size.

I can only see that suspension working when you're sat on the saddle with your feet in the air, free-wheeling vicar sylee.
URT was a terrible mistake wasn't it, what's the point?
Looks heaps better with a short stem and proper bars.
P.S. Do they only come with red pedals?

What I don't get about that frame is that won't the distance between the saddle and the bottom bracket ( and hence pedals) change when the suspension compresses?
The swingarm looks a bit spindly...
Makes Mavericks look less fugly...

The bikeCAD video on that article seems to suggest that the linkage works to actually make the swing arm rotate around the BB.
"Virtual, concentric Bottom bracket, URT" stylee. It isn't a million miles from the GT/Mongoose take on FS bikes in some ways...
I think it's wonderful.
Having a suspension system that changes it's response automatically depending if you are poggling along in the saddle or stood up hammering is clever.
I might have a go at it again next year.
I think it looks v interesting.
Its not a URT in the original sense of a pivot behind the BB. With a pivot in front of it, the suspension will still work when standed.
And it's an SS so for that reason, Im in!
Whilst I don't think it's a beauty, I want one. I think.
