I own just the one MTB and it all works well thankyou. However some of the Alen key bolts are manky i.e stem, caliper and disc mount ones.
Wondering wether to go Ti or add some colour, the bike is all silver/grey/white/black.
The thing with coloured bits though, is that 'seemed a good idea at the time' feeling you get a month later.

Ti or just replace with decent stainless steel ones - might add oooooooh, 50 grams. 🙂

Been wondering the same with some of my bolts. You'd have thought that a RaceFace Deus XC stem would come with decent bolts; the amount it costs! But, the heads are rusting nicely.

Having seen some Ti bolts snap I would go down the stainless route. Ti just aint as strong in bolt form.

Go to a decent fixing seller with your ordinary bolts and he should sell you ones or twos s/steel ones as a replacement.

Ti is good but as Suggsey says, not good as a bolt.

Blimey allthepies you've got a good memory. The MTB is last on the list behind road and cross, though I am going to use it tomorrow night.
