What it says on the tin...
Hmmm
Am I missing something? Lovely bike and all, but that's a BMC not a Canyon..
What it says on the tin…
Is that a different tin? With a Canyon in it?
D'Oh! Got an email from Canyon as I was posting this. Brain dead. Sorry folks.
Calming, yes. Any relationship to how o build bikes, no.
No sweating or swearing. No 2 hours trying to feed the cables internally. No realising you don't have crucial bit to bleed the brakes as some Shimano road levers have a different thread size for the bleed port. No bits lost in the box, then you find them in the workbench after looking in the box for ages.
I'm doing it all wrong.
No finding you have the wrong bracket for one of the brakes. No realism.
That cable routing looks great built and a complete PITA to install
Dropped seat stays are so 2020.
Finished result looks lovely. I wonder how many takes were needed whilst the mechanic lost his rag with the fiddly cable routes?
Why did they use such an awful mount for the Bolt? Surely with the resources available someone could have printed an aero copy of the supplied mount to fit under the stem.
shame about the press fit BB but otherwise very watchable
