I was a little surprised to read Ton's comment in another thread about having many steel and alloy frame and not being able to tell the difference. Granted i've not had as many bikes(has anyone?) but the difference in ride quality from the moment i slung my leg over the Slackine the quality of the frame has been apparent. Its way lighter than i thought it would be, and the addition of a dropper has added an hooligan element to a classy frame.
I guess with the trails dry, folks will be shelving the hardtails for the big ol' bouncy things..dry trails + hardtail = big skidz.
I made this. I like it, but not as much as my Spitfire. It does only owe me about £350 though.
