I've been busying away creating a new bike for alfa jr to join me on.... this'll be his around town, shops, nursery and hopefully family touring limousine 🙂

Added benefit that my much loved blizzard has come back from the dead / spares bin, along with a load of other stuff that I'd forgotten I had. Xtracycle truly is what spares bins are made for!

your spares bin would appear to be better equipped than most people's pride and joy 🙂

Is that a dropper I see?

Never seen anything like that before, what is the benefit of stretching it over simply putting a child seat on the seat post?

@stoner - yeah, that's a gravity dropper I had spare 😳 - it has the benefit of being exactly the right height for me in the raised position, and t'missus in the lowered position; a very lazy and quick family saddle adjustment technique 🙂

@rusty mac - bit more room for him to see something other than my bum, plus loads of luggage room for shopping trips and touring. should last well for when he gets big, so we can do trips out with a bike for him stuck in the bag and him sat on the deck.

They're absolutely ace aren't they.
Ours was attached to an old Orange Clockwork.

Selling my kit though now that the kids are 11 and 8.
Used to love going to the tip with massive amounts of stuff piled up.
Also - doing a full supermarket shop.

This is us at Delamere:

The Clockwork is now starting it's 3rd life as a comfy commuter.
