Hi! Your off to a great start. I never considered saying hi when I started (or realised I wouldn't be able to change my name to something supercool later). I just sidled in quietly and sat down. Other posters are right, it will help form your view of what is essential in life. Top tip: If like me you do not already own and cannot yet afford a wood burner, I have found that you can just put a pile of sticks on the gas hob. Just turn the extractor fan on and you will be fine...
