had a lovely ride tonight on the Qs with two pals from work. Only saw one other rider(he was stomping along much quicker then us). Jason commented he would fit in our group as we were too old , too fat and diabetic ! Im realy pleased to see Jason getting fitter and riding much futher up hills. Oh and Brian tried to ride across the fallen tree in Holford combe ! Comments ?

I hit the post button by mistake ....
Why do you guys always ride the stream and come up the step? I think the singletrack up to the side is more fun - especially the roots!
The rooty right-turn/drop going the other way - only tried it twice, survived the first time, stacked it the second time, chickened-out ever since!
I rode the roots as i didnt want wet feet ! Brian nearly cleared the fallen tree , he shocked me by trying it , brave bu55er.
Looks like it needs a wheelie drop or other 'rad' move to disembark.
Must look for that next time over that way.
