I have a Guerciotti CF CX frame that I recently noticed had the tiniest of cracks one near the top tube / head tube junction, the other on the top of the down tube / head tube jnction. Both cracks are so skinny you can't feel them with your fingernail.

I had quite a major over the bars crash yesterday and neither crack has expanded which I would have expected it to do if it was structural.

Thoughts?

Probably just the lacquer.

Or a sticker..

Probably just the paintwork if you can't feel it in the lacquer - do the tap test thing and maybe have a feel inside the frame (if you get your fingers in there!) to set you mind at ease 🙂

Thanks Dave. The tap test is reassuring.
