The cyclist who rides through the Mersey Tunnel at 4 in the morning on weekends. Can't believe the police let him do it and he must be pretty brave to do it anyhow. Most traffic at that time of day is cabs going well over the speed limit.
Mersey tunnel regulations allow us cyclists to ride through at certain times, ive done it a few timees on a sunday afternoon, take the dock exit at liverpol and dont use the entry barriers.
Been stopped once by a nioce police lady,who kindly pointed out her inspector had told her to have a word, she looked amazed when i told her i rode through it because i could.
Its also well lit, dry and very warm with litle wind, just a few idiots in vehicles who shout abuse at you and others who sound there horns.

Queensway Tunnel
(a) Handcarts, mailcarts, metal-tyred vehicles, perambulators, push-carts,
wheelbarrows, pedal-cycles the riders of which are under the age of
14 years, and vehicles drawn by animals shall not be used in the
Queensway Tunnel or on the approaches thereto.
(b) Pedal-cycles shall not be used in the Queensway tunnel during the
following period, namely:-
(i) from Monday to Friday inclusive between the hours of 6.00 am
and 8.00 pm;
(ii) on Sundays between the hours of 8.00 am and 9.00 pm during
the period from 1st April to 30th September inclusive.
(c) No person shall permit any animal to enter the tunnel except animals
conveyed in a vehicle.
