It's my 21st wedding anniversary. Mrs_oab and mini_oab's are at the other end of the country. I therefore have treated myself to some local brewery samples.
And so to the all important question.
.
Refrigerate or not? It's lager but IPA.....

You're on the list.

As a reformed lager drinker I am sitting in my garden enjoying a nice cold Hobgoblin Gold.

It's fine if I take one straight from the garage but I prefer it chilled.

I'd probably go with fridge, depending on which bit is hybrid? But not too cold or you won't get any aroma.

There need be no "conundrum" here.

Half of them in the fridge, half not. Alternate bottles to see which is best.

I mean, you do have more than one bottle, right?

I'm a 'real ale person' and in my experience there is no ale that is not improved by being cool - not necessarily chilled, but certainly not at room temperature. Maybe 5 degrees C?

If it was brewed using a true larger yeast, I say chill. If it was brewed using one of the ale yeast's that don't throw esters such as us 05 or whatever, I say (cool) room temp. Given todays weather, it's probably best just to sit in the garden and get it down ya neck whatever temp it is. 🙂

IPA is usually best a bit cool if not properly chilled. IMO YMMV etc.

I have a few beers, but not two the same.

It is true lager yeast.

That's one of my favourites, best from the fridge.

Fizzy lager pretending to be beer. Chill it in the fridge to keep the bubbles under control.

Fridge , somehwere between 1 and 2 hours .
Glass ware as important as temp. I would put that into a stemmed large glass with an etched base
And some Chicken and Thyme crisps probably

Why are you putting solids in a hydraulic system?

Fridge for me, as with most beer that isn't dark brown. Got some lovely sharps vintage blend in the garage. Just waiting for the weather to cool off a bit.
