I've got an old CAAD9 that I've been using quite a lot as of late and the gears are getting more and more ropey. I've tried to bring them back into good fettle but it doesn't get fully there or last long.
Whats the best groupset I can buy - bang for buck? No brand preference just good value. It'll be replacing Sora and my wheel can already accept an 11speed cassette

105 is good but Tiagra is also GVFM although it's 10 speed not 11 like 105 but on a fairly old bike and coming from 9 speed it may well be good enough.
I've just done this exact job - and I got the latest Shimano 105 11 speed groupset 8)
