Is there a noticeable difference when using 9mm and 10mm quick releases over the tradition QR hubs/skewers? Am I right in assuming that these work in regular QR dropouts as well?

I've got one at the back of my Prophet and I can't tell the difference, apart from it's more of a faff to get the wheel in!
It's heavier and I think I'm radder because I own it 😉

Yes, they go in reguluar drop-outs and I needed different hub adapters.

on the front it my floats felt stiffer torrsionaly?, but still flexy fore and aft if that makes sense

on the back you only notice it when leaning hard in a turn or landing jumps at an angle etc
