Looks interesting.... air damping?
Air damping used to be more popular, because it weighs chuff all. Cane Creek made the Cloud9 XC damper long before they made the CCDB.
not a drop of oil in em - greased only .
im out.
theres a reason that didnt catch on.
That CSU 😯
A friend has their current telescopic ones the XCite it may be called. they're shit. They break regularly, and German:A then charge exorbitant amounts to repair them, or refuse to return them.
I'm readying a shitty stick to use not to touch these!
Nah, not for me.
What sacrifices have been made to get to that headline grabbing weight? I'd bet the performance gained by being 500-600g lighter than say an RS-1 is more than lost by the forks performance.
Not sure the RS1 is the best example in that instance...
Got to admire them for pushing the envelope, crown looks flexy tho.
englund air cartridges worked v well in Judy forks
Better than stock ones or risse cartridges
Englund air cartridges IME were pants in USE SUB forks though, damping was inconsistent with heat build up and expansion of the plastic parts.
