I'm toying with the idea of going 2x10 on my bike which currently has SRAM X9 9 speed rear mech, X9 shifters and Shimano SLX triple front rings, along with a Shimano XT 9 speed cassette

Just how many and what components and at what cost would it be to get to SRAM X9 10 speed 2x10?

I would be passing down the leftover components to another bike so not wasted.

Two new front rings(just for ratios), block, chain, rear mech and rear shifter.

Oh and can I mix and match Shimano with SRAM, eg SRAM rear mech and Shimano cassette?

sram and shimano cassettes can be swapped, as can chains, and finally chainsets are compatible, but anything with moving parts, ie shifters and mechs can't.
