Won't name them but kin' hell! 80 sheets! Not something that would carry a quarter bottle and a bodywarmer either. Think more credit card and a selection of small flapjacks.
I've got an Ortlieb which was over £100 but the fastening system and the capacity make it worth it imo.
What about a smaller bag though not £80!?
Yep seems steep, especially when the Rapha one is only £60….
I have the SeeSense bag, think it was about £40, very happy with it. Alpkit 3l bag is £25.
Is it nice and do you need at least two for the sports outlet garage to keep the kayaks, paddle board, RC vehicles and jet ski company.
Small bar bags are stupid. Massive amounts of drag, shit for getting things in and out of, hipster crap.
Just put it in your pockets.
For super long distance stuff - just use a tailfin and full frame.
Just put it in your pockets.
How am I going to get, a waterproof jacket, a GoPro, mini tripod, bobble hat, energy bar, phone, keys, tubeless repair kit, spare tube, three cheese sandwiches and a pork pie in my pocket? 🤷♂️
It does all fit in my stupid little bar bag though
Agree on the price
Without a link I am not able to be outraged, so I feel let down by the OP more than the bag itself.

Must be a small pork pie!

EDIT: I've spent £80 on a small bar bag, and twice that on a custom frame bag. Could have bought cheaper but this is from a decent guy plying an honest trade. Paying for his time and craftsmanship. It's pricey but I'll take the bags to my grave.
No point moaning without telling us exactly what you are moaning about.
MrsMC bought me the Rapha bar bag last Christmas. I don't do speed, or aero. It's been great for freeing up jersey pockets.
Ended up with a loop bar and an old 90’s bum bag that fits in it secure with waist band.
Just by shear luck. Though my bike is not cool, he he
Generally in life, I find that if I’m questioning the high price of something, it usually turns out I’m not the target market.
Carradice are good value, and UK made.
Is this an occasional bag e.g. for a bikepacking trip, or something that will be on it on every ride?
I’d say a reasonable amount of money if so.
Don’t have such a bag myself, but spending that sort of money so your multi thousand pound bike is better suited for your needs seems sensible.
I’ve got an edc tool in my headset, I bought a new pump that fits in my pocket, and a fidlock bottle. That’s well over £80, but gives me comfortable pack free riding most of the time.
Must be a small pork pie!
well there'll be at least one cafe stop so need to leave some room for cake

Fair enough I suppose
three cheese sandwiches and a pork pie
Jaysus, how far are you riding!!
