Tried Ebay, most are 8.4v and 1000mA. Its for a bike light that came from Torchy a few years ago. I will email him if still in business but just wondered if I should look elsewhere? Not sure if there is a Maplin equivalent..

Three pin and UK stock would be a bonus!

I may be wrong but not sure 8.5v Vs 8.4v will make too much difference, Checking the voltage of a few of my power supplies I was shocked just how far out (±1.5v) they were. The worst was a 6v 400ma one that put out 9v at no load, 6v at 120ma and 3.8v at 400ma while occasionally cutting off. I returned it to the seller and the replacement wasn't much better (8.2v down to 4v at 400ma) but the radio it was for worked no problem

Yeah I figured 0.1v wouldn't matter, the 1a/2a discrepancy would mean a slower charge though..
