Just discovered my rear wheel has a hole in it. Spoke pulling through. further inspection shows some stress lines around a couple of other spokes. Cant really complain, its been on the commuter for 3 years and not exactly loved
So, Im after a new rim. 622-19 is what it says on the current one, stronger the better wanted.
rebuilding as its an alfine hub.
I have literally no idea when it comes to skinny stuff, so all ideas welcome.
Budget 30 quid ish
Cheers

622-19 is the ERTO rim size for a 700c rim with 19mm internal width - but to save you the cost of having to replace the spokes, you'll need to find / measure the rim ERD (Effective Rim Diameter and find a rim of the same ERD and number of spoke holes too. Googling the spec of your bike model and year might help ID your current rim? Kinlin rims are good value and are often sold under OEM brands.
