Hi, looking for some recommendations for places to stay near the 7 stanes. Planning to spend a week riding the trail centres with my wife. Will probably move around so a mix of hotels, b&bs, log cabins... Anything really, just wanted some suggestions for good places to stay!

Tantah croft or tantah studio is a fantastic place to stay. Did a lads weekend of gypsy Glen (a well known xc ride right from the doorstep), glentress red and innerleithen red. Both are a short drive away.

Amazing place and a top weekend, the owners were really friendly and they have a bike wash.

http://www.kippfordlodges.co.uk. Various others if you search Kipford lodges

Recently featured on a TV programme; http://www.wallamhill.co.uk. I do know them, worked with Margaret and Gogs via car club days 🙄
Can suggest many more in Dumfries area.

You might want to include Drumlanrig in your trip and a stay in Thornhill on your way to/from the Tweed Valley trails 💡
