Building up a new frame with old bits. THe hose to my rear Hope Mini (about 2002 / 2003) is a bit short. But looking on the net I think my old hoses are 6mm and all new ones are 5mm. 6mm no longer made.
People seem to talk about using Goodridge instead. Does anyone know if either of these will work or whether I need a special conversion kit?

that kit gives you all the bits you need I think
I bought a length of Goodridge hose and re-used the hope fittings.
Yes he can re-use 6mm fittings on Braided, but it's not very successful(it's what Hope did originally), often resulting in the hose pulling out of the fitting when stressed. Buying either kit is a far better route to take.
It's the hose that determines the 5mm or 6mm sizing, the lever and caliper will work with either size fittings.
