Hi any thoughts - On One seems like a good starting point!

Any other gems out there?

If you're after low bb, slack HA built around 150mm forks the Commencal Meta ht could be a good starting point... either the budget spec and a few quid spare for a dropper etc or the AM 2 can be had sub £1k.

I've just built up the frame and so far have been quite impressed with it.

Though if you don't like bright colours then this isn't for you... no joke the brightest endure spec matt fluro yellow ever.

I agree the new range of Bird hardtails look very good, and local too based near Swinley Forest.

I have a Bird Zero 1 and I'm really pleased with it. The Deore version is just under a grand.
