Morning folks -

I'm after a 29er (I think) Suspension fork to complete my chubby Solaris project.

Anyone spotted any bargains?

Any advice on the perfect fork for 650b+?

Paul

29er Rock Shox are a bit tight side to side on Scraper i45's but they work.

I had good success with the 650B XFusion model - though I haven't tried it with a Scraper yet.

I'm running a Scraper with a 2.8 Trailblazer.

For flexibility, and interchangeability with other bikes would the 29" version of the XFusion be OK?

Manitou Magnum proper plus fork based on the Mattoc the 27.5 version fits 27.5 plus the 29 version fits 29+.

frosty- nice, but I think that is a boost axle version, and I don't want to rebuild the wheels.

I think one of the questions I have regarding forks for this is offset. Do I go with 51mm?

I definitely want 29er forks, so I can swap wheels.

51mm is for Gary Fishers I thought? IIRC 43mm is the standard 29er offset (early forks were 38mm but that tended to give slow steering)

51mm offset is now available from a number of manufacturers.

The xfusions are 51mm in 29er guise and rockshox offer the pikes and the revs as well.
