Just having a mess about in the LBS today and pleased to see the enduro fits 650b with plenty of clearance. Happy I have future proofed my purchase 🙂
Had to give the wheels back after.... Would love to try it out to see if there's much difference in ride...
i reckon the chain'll come off though
Been running a 2011 stumpy Evo with 650b for about a year and its great. Actually get less pedal strikes now and seems to climb better. No good in real bad mud though as the clearance at the back is an issue. 26" back on the rear in the slop
Love it!
Think you have to check that the fork crown doesn't touch the tyre under full compression.

Amazed there haven't been a load of Youtube videos of that - people landing drops/jumps, bottoming out the crown on a 650b wheel, lockign up the front as a result, and OTB
Hows the BB height?
that's not helping my obsession with those wheels
Dan did you let all the air out of the shocks to see if there was any contact?
Looks awesome.
Go 29er on the front? 😉
waldo1 - No didnt let any air out...wish I'd had more time to check properly. There was about 20mm clearance on the back to the stay. about 15mm on the fork to the brace.
They'd just tried a 2013 stumpy evo and that was pretty close on the rear, fox 34 fork was ok. Sounds like cnud above is getting ok with his stumpy...
A guy from mojo was in the shop the other week and confirmed the fox 160mm 36 26er fork is fine at 650b.
