Looking at some LB carbon rims up to 30mm internal so 370-400g per rim and decent width.

Before i go down that route is there anything in aluminium for a substantial cost saving at the expense of some weight and width?

(150/140 travel FS and 80kg but I am easy on wheels)

I run DT XM401 rims, which are around 430g each and have a width of 27mm.

They have a nice anodised finish to them.

35mm wide & 500g

I've been running a set for 18 months and like them a lot. They work particularly well with Schwalbe tyres run tubeless.

DS25 from SSC - 520g in 650b with 25mm internal width - I've been using them as b+ wheels and they built up easily, went up easily (tubeless) and have happily coped with my special brand of finesse while riding rigid over rocky trails.

Silly cheap too and 20% extra off at the moment

I run a LB 30mm on the rear and a DT EX471 on the front. The LB is great but the DT is fine and cheaper, obviously.

hmm good price and weight but 22.5 internal.

Have seen the Ryde Trail with 24.8 internal at a claimed 420g and £77 which looks quite good (mixed reviews on tyre fitting through).

ahh a few more replied (was replying to Bens 1st reply), will look at the others.

not seen the Nextie ones before. Look very similar to LB but offer a 2 yr warranty if that means anything really where likely cause of failure is impact.

DS25 look a bit heavy but would be very cheap as a full build with the 20% off and not worth going to the hassle myself. They also do the Ryde Edge 26 which are a bit heavier at claimed 490g but a good 25.8mm width so about 100g heavier than the LB route but a whole load cheaper.
