[Closed] 650b On-One Whippet, 445 or 465 forks??

Time has come to order forks for my dads xmas present but not sure what a-c to go for to run it 650b, any suggestions??

Is this is a 26" whippet? I'd probably go with 445mm as they are 26" 100mm travel equivalent so the net result is you are just raising the bike up the same amount at each end by fitting the 650b wheels compared to 26".

Whippet will take 100mm - 120mm fork, so 445mm would be best, but 465mm would be OK IMO

I have 29er forks on my Whippet, 470mm.

The front end is still too low, so I'd definitely go with the longer ones.

I reckon a 650 front wheel would make it about perfect though, but I don't have the time to rebuild the front wheel.

Raising it up will make it slacker but surely at the expense of even more BB height increase.

Surely the correct way to get the front end up is to alter the cockpit not the fork? It is supposed to be an XC bike.

Dunno, it feels right to me with the longer fork.
