Looking for some forks with a 15mm axle, 185+ steerer
Sub £200
To go on a hardtail ridden predominantly on techy trails - very much winch and Plummet - on an onone deedar
Currently got moco sektor set at 150mm but they have developed a top out clunk - damping is still fine so a bit weird
I'd probably look at a set of second hand Pikes for that sort of money. Or maybe an older Yari?
Something like this (with a little bit of haggling)?

Everything will be secondhand at that price. You could probably pick up some Xfusion Sweep roughcut which will do you fine. Travel can be adjusted relatively easily.
Cheers
Anyone seen any?
140mm x-fusion forks on sale at planet-x for 140quid if that works?
Yeah they are in the mix
Not sure if they are any good though
Need to check axle to crown length too plus (bike tart alert) white fork on a white frame 🤮
Velvets will be a bit noodly for your intended use, I think. I have some on an old Soul and can feel the difference between them and the Sweeps. Decent tyre clearance for 27.5 though.
Make sure they don't send you the straight steerer ones by mistake if you do opt for them.
If you were relatively happy with the Sektors, why not look into why they are topping out with a clunk? Chances are that it can be sorted with a service - I think I remember people reporting that it happens when a bit of grease blocks the transfer port on the air spring, so you might be able to remedy it by letting the air out, then refilling them slowly, stopping every 10psi to fully compress and pull them up several times.
They have been stripped just so will service and put back together tomorrow. They were fine until I upped the pressure a few days ago 🤔
New seals, fresh oil, and fresh grease should sort it.

That might be it, then, they're not equalised properly. If you've got them apart then look for the little dimple on the airside shaft just up by the top-out bumper and check it's clear of grease.
