Not a chance, I've done the 'early adopter' thing before.

Anyone want to buy a Dreamcast?

No thanks, I've got 2 already! MUCH better games than the PS2 (in the early days at least).

True, very true.

Mine doesn't seem to work on flat screen tellies though, the picture just jumps about all over the place.
At least if it does turns out to be broken I can buy another for a tenner.

Anyway, silly wheels.............

So that will be a bike that has wheels too small to roll fast, but too big to throw around, its neither one or the other 🙂

I built some 650b's up over Christmas, I've had them on a battered old rock lobster frame and I was quite impressed. They're now on my BFe but decided against it today as the tyres tread isn't that aggressive so it will have to wait, plus my reverb needs a good look at etc etc before I give it a proper shake down.

I'd love to test them out with the same tyre on the same bike to really see how that feels but then I figure I wouldn't want to keep both set ups, so I went with a faster rolling tyre than usual based on the fact that you should get more grip like for like 26 vs 650.

I also think you can do a lot just with tyre choice to influence your effective rim size, a 26" rim with rubber queens comes up pretty big vs a small xc tyre

Sorry don't have a dreamcast

Wtf is a dream cast and ooh that zen looks nice. Can't ride the 26s I've got let alone justify a middle ground possible flash in the pan.
In all honesty if I won the lottery I'd be looking at the Santa cruz tall boy ltc or the turner burner 650 or the sultan or the rocky mountain 29 carbon thingamajig .
And if I won the lottery I'd be able to ride more than once a month.....

650B I just pressed the button.

That's the button on the "make silly sized things normal sized" machine, yeah? Good work, I salute you.

I built my race bike up with 650b wheels this time last year. I've just converted my training bike too. Love it!

I've got a custom titanium 650B frame on the way from the lovely folks at Kingdom Bike. Been on 650s since Gee suggested it last year and love it.
