After years of resistance, I'm about to dabble in 650b, and have just taken delivery of a Whyte 909 frame. I've scored some bargain wheels, so now I need to find a fork. I believe that the 909 comes with a 130mm fork, and has an already fairly slack head angle.

Anyone got any recommendations for what's good and bad in the 650b world? Are Fox 34's still a bit meh?

Also, anyone know of any bargains?

K

wouldn't it be exactly the same as 26 and 29er forks?

Rockshox Pike Solo Air. The 130mm ones are stock on the 2015 909, so you should be able to buy them in the shops soon.

m1ateusz - you'd think so wouldn't you. I'm sure I've read that it's not always the case.

hard to see past a pike if you can get a 130mm one (or ask loco about modding one for you)

The 27.5 Revelation on my 45650b is great, travel is easy enough to adjust down to 130mm if you send them off to TFtuned and the like.

Thanks - just found some 140mm Rev RCT3s on alltricks.fr for about £305, will maybe get them dropped by 10mm if it's too slack. Cheers all
