My daughter has a lovely trek elite 26" CF hardtail.
It has a 185 c/l avid rotor on the front and a 160 c/l on the rear. She has got a 2nd set of wheels so she can run some more heavily treaded tyres for when its muddy. These wheels are 6 bolt. So, trying to keep costs down i have tried to buy a 6 bolt 185mm disc.
It appears that 185 has ceased to be a thing. So its either a fairly expensive disc, or swap the adapter and get 2 x 180mm discs, one c/l and the other 6 bolt.
Anyone got any ideas as to whats the best course of action?
Ian
Are Hope 183mm still available? 1mm difference on the radius.
Have a look on eBay, Avid rotors for less than £20
I've got a 185mm Avid 6 bolt in VGC somewhere...
If it doesn't work out with mboy PM me, I might be able to help.
PM sent, thanks
