Now, I know less than nowt about road bikes...so passing on my brothers request to you good folk.
He's not currently a serious cyclist but is keen to try road cycling. I think he's got a lycra fetish, but anyhow he's asking if this is a good starting point...

Those frames are nice, I nearly got one for my wife.
Although the running gear on a Decathlon may be better, that Giant will be upgradable if he gets into it and sellable if he doesn't.
Before anyone else says it, the £500 B-Twin bike at Decathlon is brilliant for the money.
