I had to replace the battery in my power meter this week and now I can't get it to wake up. I have tried various batteries and tested them in other sensors, so I know the battery is not the problem. The power meter is not being picked up by either my Garmin or the 4iiii app.
It's less than a year old and I have had no problem before. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions before I do a warranty return?
I thought I'd read about people putting battery in troubled units with reverse polarity and found this...

Stick battery in wrong way for 10secs and then refit with correct polarity.
Thanks, I'll give it a go.
I have a factory sticker on the battery compartment lid telling me to do the polarity thing whenever you change the battery. It's always worked so perhaps it is required?
I've done the polarity thing now. It didn't work initially, then I re-inserted the battery and rotated the cover by 180 degrees and it's now working! A bit frustrating but hopefully that's it sorted. Thanks for your replies.
