quick question for you lot out there if i ride a 18inch 456 would i est be suited to a 18inch 29er or a 19 inch as according to sizing guide i could ride either thanks
i have an 18" 456 and an 18" scandal 29. both seem to be a similar TT length. standover is about the same too.

I have a 456 and a ti29er, both 18" and all contact points are in exactly the same position, ti 29er are the same geometry as the scandal (except for the bent seat tube on the ti.
I have a 20 inch 456 and a 19.5 inch Scandal.
Scandal has a longer Effective TT than the 456 and the difference is eminently detectable. Otherwise they are a fair match up. On that basis I suspect that you might find the 18 inch Scandal a better bet if you are coming off an 18 inch 456.
