How long are your legs?

I'm 5'10" and run with a lot of seatpost showing on and 18" - just about use a 350mm post. I have 32" inside leg FWIW.

Have a look at the effective top tube lengths. From what i remember there is very little difference between some sizes to th bike won't feel that much longer - it is the ETT that is more important than the nominal size.

If you can find the specs or measure your current bike as a guide.

5'10" here and riding a 16" happily, however I don't think I'd have much of a problem riding the 18" the sizing increments are not insane, although are you looking at an old 456 or the new "Evo" version as that has some slight changes to Geometry and tube lengths.

IMO 6'1" doesn't make you a giant so an 18" should fit Ok depending on Stem length and saddle position; the 456 is a relatively long TT frame, and that really the key thing - how does it compare length wise to your current frame?
Don't let the seat tube length confuse the issue...
