I'm in the process of changing my drive train over and am now at the point where I'm fitting the chainring but now have to set the position and chain line.

I am running a Shimano UN55 73x118 bottom bracket with 32t nw chain ring and 11/46 cassette are there spacers that I can get to set the chainring in the right position???

Yep, loads of options, just google “chainring spacers” and fill your boots.

Is there an easy way to calculate which ring i'll need?

How do you mean "what ring I'll need"?
You already have a 32T narrow wide chainring?

I'd fit everything and see how you go. You can move the chainring between outside or inside of the tabs on the crank.

You can measure your chainline and compare it to what the recommended measurement is for your 1x system.
But tbh I'd just give it a go and see .
