OK, so perhaps I am having a bad evening and can't work Google, but I am stumped. Help!

I have a frame that, when I measure it with a caliper (I didn't believe my plastic ruler), has a headtube with an internal diameter of approximately 39mm. There are no internal features or recesses for any integrated gubbins, it's just straight through 39mm, or 39 and a wee bit perhaps.

So, the question is: What headset type do I need, or even better, can anyone tell me a headset that'll allow me to fit a straight, 1 1/8" fork into this frame, please? Do I just need 1 1/4" to 1 1/8" reducer cups, or have I got something even weirder on my hands?

Cheers

Rob

What's the frame?

1 1/8 is 34mm, 1 1/4 is 37mm, Internal is 44mm, so like you I'm confused?

Weird!

Bearings likely easily sourced - just the cups that'll be a PITA.
