Someone donated us a Sachs E-bike in good nick which I'd like to get going for an elderly local person. Battery, suprise suprise, is not holding charge, only getting to 24v so presume some cells are knackered. Where's the go to place for getting the existing battery re-celled or a replacement at a reasonable cost? Seen some on ebay we could adapt but a bit wary so any leads for somewhere reputable appreciated, thanks
You'll probably get more responses on the Pedelecs forum.
Try bga reworking ltd. Ask for Jimmy, and be prepared to have a long conversation! I haven't used his service, but he is very highly thought of on pedelecs and does quality work apparently.
Thanks both, will try
