So what's the deal with 35mm stems/ clamp surface/ diameter? After a new set of bars, preferably carbon and thought i may upgrade the stem too and try out 35mm.
What are your recommendations and opinions on this?

I have Easton havoc 50mm stem and 800mm carbon bars... 35mm!!! I like the cockpit size...I.e Short and wide but had the same bars in alloy and don't notice any difference at all!!!
Not worse not better.
