As the bulk bags usually work out less than a £1 for each foam ring I normally change them at each (RockShox) lower service rather than 'clean' the old ones.

A LOT less than £1.... and since I'm a big believer in just keeping forks clean inside I tend to pull apart often .. clean then inspect seals and dust seals and stick in new foam rings... as i also buy 20x crush washers at once this costs me a few cc of lowers oil and a few pence in crush washers and foam rings

But I like your prudency with crush washers! I tend to do those on an annual / 200 hour service as the manufacturers advice changed....will probably die soon 😉

Last lot were bought washers and retainers separate.... (just worked out that way)
ebay outdooroutlet £15 for 50 retainers but now in pairs only ??? (I always find this sort of thing tends to be ephemeral and you need to search each time)
