Can anyone recommend me a pair of 3/4 length bib tights that dont have thermal lining in them? I'm looking to replace my Lusso ones which are a little thin in places they shouldnt be, Lusso appear to still do some but i was hoping to get some for a little less than the £80 they are currently.

And just to pre-empt the first response, i dont want to use knee warmers and normal bibs.

I got some from Decathlon last year, think they were this model: https://www.decathlon.co.uk/xc900-3-4-mountain-bike-bib-shorts-black-id_8500172.html

Cheap and do the job, no doubt nicer models are available but not at that price 🙂

Edit: perhaps they weren't that model as mine definitely aren't thermal. There's another (even cheaper) model which isn't thermal.

Pearl izumi do good 3/4 bib shorts, direct from Madison so pretty much any bike shop can get them.

Same boat as the stitching on my Howies has let go in an unfortunate place. Also don't want thermals, the Galibiers look good for the money but a couple of reviews say they come up a bit short and I'm lanky

I have Galibier and Endure FS-260, both good and Endura MT500 which are thicker. All bought in sales at different times BTW.

PX bibs are supposed to be decent, might order a pair of the 3/4 when they come back into stock, currently have Funkier (aqua and winter thermals) and DHB in full leg length.

The Rivelo ones from SportPursuit are good, not too thermal.

I'd be interested in some warm ones that come just under the knee, to go under my waterproof Endura outer shorts. Those Decathlon ones look great but might be too long for that purpose, and the exposed fabric might just drag water in.

Cheers everyone, i've reserved a pair of the Pearl Izumi ones via Freewheel to have a look at.

My alpkit bibs are now my go to bibs above all the other ones.

They do them in different lengths and are about £50. Highly recommended.

Currently £47
