Want to get a second of wheels for my gravel bike, currently using Hope 20FIVE wheels on pro4 hubs, want to get a slightly cheaper set of Hunt wheels to have alternative tyre choice. Will they just fit with no caliper adjustment. I will use the same size rotors same size cassette. same axles. Or just I just buy another identical hope set to avoid adjustments.

should be pretty much bang on, i use other wheels as well as my hunt 650b and just swap and change, quick pull on the lever and all seems fine 🙂

They might fit with no caliper adjustment or they might not. If not then you need to use spacers on one or both wheels to make the disc offset the same.

You might get lucky, you might not. I have a similar setup- one wheelset is hope pro2 front dt rear, the other pro4 both. Front and rear usually both need an adjustment when swapping wheels (swapping one way seems to need it more than the other, for some reason). That’s despite the fact I understand pro 4 and pro 2 front hubs to be basically the same- they’ve got different rotors.

Keep meaning to buy some spacers.

Another maybe here, I had 2 different hub manufacturers (Hope and Specialized) on my fat bike wheels and they always rubbed when I changed them. Was a 2 second job to fix though (unbolt caliper, squeeze lever, do up caliper), and it’s not like you are ever changing them in a rush.

That said, I’ve now changed the Specialized hubs to Hope, no adjustments required...

There's no way of knowing. Identical hubs will help.

I’ve got 4 sets of wheels which fit two bikes. All have identical hubs and rotors. 2 sets are a perfect swap, 2 aren’t.

Had the same concerns so played safe with 2sets built on Hope Pro 4 hubs, both swap with no adjustments needed

It doesn’t matter, it takes minutes to align.

Thanks guys, will probably go the identical wheels. It would be just my luck if I went for the Hunt they wouldn't be a straight swap
