I'm after (in priority order)

1. 29er
2. Light (probably carbon)
3. Modern geo (long TT)
4. Good value (2k)
5. 1x11 sram
6. Fork 120ish

At that price range you're probably looking at a YT Jeffsy, Canyon or some other direct to buyer brand.

Could probably build something custom if you're willing to compromise on things like forks I reckon.

Sorry, didn't realise hard tail was an option! Much easier to hit 2K then.

Starling Cycles..

www.starlingcycles.com and see my Facebook page.

I'm doing a small batch of prototype 29ers at the moment for reduced price. A full build will be closer to £2.5k, but you'll get something very special and just as you want it.

FS is an option but at this price point weight is an issue, my 650b enduro bike is 13kg so id prefer my 29er to a good chunk lighter tbh

Jeffsy looks great but is a little hefty really, iv not sen anything in the Canyon line up that fits the bill with modern geo apart from the Exceed but they start at £2700

Spend the cash on a super set of wheels, this will offset any frame/component weight issues at a low budget.

Custom wheelsets at reasonable prices available with all my builds.
