Have been thinking that a 29r may well be the next bike in the collection, but just checked them out and the standover heights are massive.

I'm 5.9. with a long body so a small is going to be way short, however my dinky legs means the one I was looking at (canyon) is out the question. Are there any out there that aren't built for giants?

I've ridden a few 29ers and at 5'7" have no problem with standover height. In fact, in the Santa Cruz line, I'm not even on a small - I'd be on a Medium.

Not sure the budget will stretch to a Santa Cruz unfortunately 🙁 Even then my issue is my tiny legs...and as I'm not actually that short I need a medium in the toptube.

My budget was going to be closer to 1000-1500. And for that money the Canyon is stand out value. Although its bugger all value if it doesn't fit I suppose 🙁

I am 5,7 and ride a 17" cube with no issues. I can't see why you would not fit that size of frame.

Great bike btw.

Aye - a Cube would be fine - or a 16" On One Scandal 29er.
