Sup,
I was just looking for some advice. I've got a race in Holland next weekend and around 40-50% of the race course is on the beach sand, a mixture of wet sand and the really loose dry sand. The rest of the course is a bit rocky but not technical. My frame will take a max of 2.4 tyres (Niner Air 9).
Anyone got any experience with these conditions to make a tyre recommendation,
Cheers,
Rory
Ardent 2.4?
Basically, any large volume, nice rolling tyre is going to work for you, long as you keep the air pressure to a minimum.
Surly are working on a semi fat 29er atm (We think), with these 3.0 tyres in the works as we speak....an option for the future
