All,

Good morning.

I'm looking to build up a new bike for Mrs B. I've accumulated some 29'er bits, inc some 100mm travel Reba's.

So....options would be a nice light xc hardtail, or if the right deal (i.e. heavily discounted) then a short travel FS would be good.

Trouble is, I seem to be struggling to find a frame which will work with 100mm travel forks on any of the usual sites.

So....if anyone has spotted anything decent, would you care to share a link please.

That said, if anyone has a Scandal 29'er in ~ 18" frame surplus, I'm sure we could come to an arrangement ;-).

Thanks all.

I had 100mm Reba's and opened them up took out a small piece of plastic and then I had 120 rebas and a lot more options! I bought a cheap parkwood frame but not sure they are still available.

Cube often do racey short travel hardtail frames quite cheap. Bike discount.de often have them for a good price.

I've got a Niner Air 9 RDO frame 19" I'm going to put up for sale in the new year.

Niner air 9 is what I have (alloy though). Picked my frame up cheap on here and it's been superb. Light, fast, comfy (for a hardtail). Santa cruz highball alloy could also be a good bet? Sometimes the frames go cheap.
