I have a Giant Anthem 29er which I am thinking of converting to a 27.5.
Currently has a 2.25 29er Racing Ralph but aiming for a 2.5 or 2.6, on a 27.5 wheel....

What have you converted ? any issues (presume you increase pedal strikes a bit and lower BB ?)

+ in a Kona Big Kahuna. 2.8 just fits in the back.

No idea about pedal strikes etc, just grips a ton more.

I'd be interested in this too. Was thinking of doing the same to my anthem.
I'd be worried about pedal strikes, they have a known thing for this as a 29er.
If you do it post some pics sometime.

Gone the other way 650b to 29er once I realised what the b in 650 stands for.

Or you could buy my 27.5 Anthem Advanced which is for sale 🙂

Convert by selling bike and buying a different one....
What's wrong with I now? What are you trying to fix?

I put 3.0 B+ tyres in my Remedy 29. It was interesting, but ultimately not as good as in 29er mode (it was good at some stuff- easy stuff- and worse at all the stuff I want my bike to be best at). If you go to smaller tyres you'll get a lot of BB drop, and not as much "plusness" if that's your goal.
