You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I need one with 36h drilling - does anything decent exist? I'd get a Notubes rim if I could, but all their current offerings appear to be disc only (as do the majority of other 29er rims on offer). Something reasonably wide but not too heavy would be good - would probably go for something like a Rhyno-Lite if it was possible to get them over here (OK, so I'm not after super light, but then one of those is a lot lighter than the obvious uni-specific alternatives).
I would be looking at touring or cross rims as I am unsure what other non disk options there are.
Thanks for the tip - I'd really prefer something a bit wider than that though.

Worcester or poss Paul could get it in for you.
Get them quick. Salsa are exiting the rim business.
Thanks for the tip - is that 22.5mm internal between the hooks?
I've also found this as an option:

Given I'm replacing a tn719 and mostly going to run a not too wide road tyre I suppose I could go for something the same width as that which would give me more options - would be nice to have something which would support a big off-road tyre run at low pressure for occasional use though.
cant remember bead width - Ive run mine with 2.1" ignitors very happily. Not tried the fatter 2.4's though.
Edit: don't bother measuring, I found this:
