Hi All

Sooo, I know the naysayers will tell me it shouldn’t be done...but ! I am after an after market fork for my surly Krampus, but I am struggling to find information on one that will reliably take 3 inch Maxxis Chronicle - and when I think I have found one, they are out of stock ! Does anyone have any reliable information on a fork with 120mm travel that would work ? Preferably something that is in stock somewhere too 😂

There's a 29+ Pike, but not that many around!

I managed to squeeze a 3" Minion into a Fox 34... never rode with it, as at 120mm travel it jacked up the front end too much, but may yet try to reduce travel to 100mm as an alternative too rigid. Tyre cleared the arch no problem,...  I didn't try it at full compression to check it cleared the crown OK, but if you ran it firm, to avoid bottom out, it might work?

The current 29" Revelations and Pikes take a 29+ tyre. Here's my Stache with a 3.00 Chupacabra in there. There's more room than it looks in the photo, enough to comfortably fit a mudguard around (which is how it's set up now).

These replaced some Manitou Magnums. They have the advantage of having a much lower axle to crown than the Manitous - the Revs are 150mm and the axle to crown is only 10mm longer than the 110mm Manitous. They also perform a lot better.
